This summer I visited Nizhny Novgorod - the city where I was born and lived for 25 years.
Much has remained the same here, but I began to see it differently from the persepctive of my new self. A lot has changed inside me since I moved from this city. I haven't felt it as home for a long time. I don't belong here anymore and feel myself as a visitor, like I've came to a hospital to visit an old uncle.
I wanted to capture the surroundings of my parents' house on film.
As I heard, the old buildings from the 1930s, in which there are still many communal apartments, are going to be torn down and their residents will be resettled in new high-rise buildings.
