Forced to take a semester of photojournalism (the best course in my college career), I became a sports photographer. Don't laugh too hard with the hair and shoes, remember these are from the 1970s. From my very first roll of sports film, I was so disappointed to only have a couple of good shots. My instructor told me that any pro would have been happy to get this shot.
